Art Workshop Vacations Across Europe's Most Inspiring Landscapes
Our art vacations are built around a simple idea: the best creative experiences happen when art instruction and travel are inseparable. Every program pairs an accomplished teaching artist with a destination chosen for its ability to inspire, then weaves daily instruction, guided walking, and cultural discovery into a single, cohesive journey.
Whether you already call yourself an artist or have never picked up a sketchbook, all you need is curiosity.
Whether you're drawn to painting vacations along the French coastline or sketching in an Italian village square, each day is designed with enough structure to feel effortless and enough flexibility to feel like your own. Our programs include mixed media, sketchbook, and painting holidays, led by artist-teachers whose followers travel from around the world to learn from them in person.

What Makes Our Art Trips to Europe Different
Art is the lens through which you experience each destination, but it's not the only reason you're there. Our programs blend daily instruction with walking, local food, and cultural exploration. And because your hosts are right there with you, we can make real-time adjustments, tapping years of local relationships and changing course the moment something better comes along.
Whatever the medium — sketchbook, painting, or mixed media — every program leaves you with a travel journal, made of the colors, impressions, and textures of the places you visit, as unique as the person who fills its pages. It might hold a sketch from a café terrace, a collaged street scene, or a watercolor of the afternoon's wine and cheese. By the end of the week, it will become a treasured record of how you actually saw the places we visit.
Whether this is your first or fifth art vacation in Europe, the experience is shaped by where you are, who's teaching, and the creative rhythm of each day. Small groups mean your artist-teacher has real time to work with you individually, and fellow travelers quickly become creative companions.

Walking Is Part of Every Program
Every art vacation includes daily walking as a core part of the experience. Between creative sessions, your group explores the destination on foot, two to four hours at a comfortable pace through coastal paths, village backstreets, and historic centers. We guide the route based on the group's energy, the weather, and whatever spontaneous discovery presents itself. The walking is how you find your next subject, your next favorite restaurant, and the corners of each destination that make the trip memorable.
