What’s to Know about Paint?

Scott is a wealth of information on every aspect of these favorite paints. For example, do you have questions about Quinacridone pigments?  Wonder where the color Serpentine comes from? How does the color Moonglow get its name or how does DANIEL SMITH test pigments for lightfastness? What’s granulation? With Scott’s easy, approachable style, you’ll learn all this and more. In fact, this is a great opportunity to ask questions in a conversational and relaxed atmosphere.

Workshop Overview

The presentation will start off with the history of DANIEL SMITH Manufacturing and the many aspects of developing DANIEL SMITH products. Then you will see firsthand lab paint outs, minerals used to manufacture colors in the PrimaTek line and more.  The finale…the exciting opportunity to sample a selection of our colors to see first-hand the Daniel Smith difference.

Zoom Meetings

Not familiar with Zoom meetings? No worries. Zoom is an on-line platform for hosting virtual meet-ups and more. It allows you to see and interact with Scott in real time. Prior to our meeting date you will be emailed information on how to set this up on your computer, phone, or tablet device. Zoom is a fun and easy way to connect with others, even while staying at home.
