Overview
A twelve-night mixed media journey across four of Greece’s most distinct landscapes: three nights on Santorini’s caldera, three on the unhurried island of Naxos, five on the little-known island of Amorgos, and a final night in Athens before heading home. Most days move between a morning outing and an afternoon session back at the hotel, with plenty of room left for swimming, wandering, or simply sitting with your journal.
The Creative Experience
This is a mixed media program: collage, paint, mark-making tools, found papers, and layered textures. Sessions run 2 to 3 hours most days, with informal working time throughout the week. Classes happen wherever the group is staying — a hotel terrace, a breakfast room, a shaded common area. Sea air and island light become part of the process.

Day by DayYour Itinerary
Programs are subject to change. Actual daily schedule may differ.
Day 1 · Arrival in Santorini
The trip opens with a hotel offering sunrise views over the Aegean, and an evening walk to take in the island’s famous caldera view.
Day 2 · Akrotiri & the Caldera
A scenic morning walk along the caldera leads into a private tour of the ancient ruins at Akrotiri. A welcome lunch at a family-run taverna by the sea and an optional sunset cruise round out the stay.
Day 3 · Oia's Winding Paths
The morning walk winds through the narrow paths of Oia village, with time for coffee at one of Greece’s most photographed viewpoints. Class follows back at the hotel, and the day closes with an optional private sunset cruise, a guest favorite.
Day 4 · Onward to Naxos
A morning ferry brings the group to Naxos. After checking in, Tiffany teaches a relaxed class by the sea, and the evening is spent exploring Naxos’s historic old town.
Day 5 · Olive Groves of Halki
A countryside walk to the village of Halki, past ancient olive groves and sleepy villages.
Day 6 · A Day by the Sea
An easy morning stroll along the sea, then a leisurely day to work in your journal and explore at your own pace.
Day 7 · Onward to Amorgos
A morning ferry carries the group to the little-known island of Amorgos. After settling into the beachside hotel, Tiffany teaches a session on the terrace, followed by an orientation walk.
Day 8 · Tholaria & Aegiali Bay
A walk through the terraced farmland of Tholaria to a small chapel above Aegiali Bay, with views across the water. The afternoon is free to relax by the sea or join an optional hike to a neighboring village.
Day 9 · The Herb Distillers of Langada
A visit to a family-run essential oil distillery in the village of Langada, using only herbs harvested on the island, followed by a group lunch at a favorite taverna and a walk back to the hotel along an ancient path.
Day 10 · Monastery of Hozoviotissa & the Alleys of Chora
A climb to the 12th-century Monastery of Hozoviotissa, built into a cliff high above the sea, then time to explore the winding alleys and traditional cafés of Chora, the island’s capital.
Day 11 · A Day at Your Own Pace
A day at your own pace — a kayak into the bay, a traditional cooking class, or simply time by the sea. Tiffany teaches on the terrace and in the village, and the day closes with a farewell dinner.
Day 12 · Onward to Athens, the Acropolis at Dusk
A morning ferry carries the group to Athens, with a final class and time to finish your journal along the way. An evening walk leads to the foot of the Acropolis, with an optional guided tour, followed by a casual dinner in the Plaka.
Day 13 · Departure
Breakfast before departing at your leisure. The hotel will hold bags for later departures.

The trip begins in Santorini and ends in Athens. We recommend an open-jaw itinerary, flying into Santorini and out of Athens, to avoid retracing your steps.

Traveled, Created, Loved It
“Spain was our second walking vacation with The Blue Walk, and it was delightful. Suzy and Jeannette are very organized, knowledgeable and friendly. They guided us for an overview of old Barcelona, and then onto Callela de Pallafrugel, the most beautiful fishing village. We walked along the coast and through farming areas to two medieval towns. Suzy and Jeannette are excellent tour guides, and we will join the Blue Walk again soon.”
Jackie and Mark Curley“They are INCREDIBLE!!! I’ve loved everything we’ve done together! An art journal workshop and a private tour with friends I met on the Art Walk & everything has been better and more fun than I ever dreamed! 5 Stars is only a beginning of how great they are!”
Sue Cogins“What a great way to get exercise and see the most incredible coast of the French Riviera with guides that cater to every personality and whim! My husband and I will definitely be on another walking tour in the near future. Thank you for an amazing experience!”
Chris & Julie Sochin“I love traveling with The Blue Walk. Our time is so special, and I’ve made wonderful friends. And your art teachers are the best! Thank you for the care you put into every aspect of our time. I can’t wait until my next trip.”
