The focus is on flowers on our 6-night multimedia workshop in Santa Barbara, CA. It will be a journey of fun and laughter with our teaching dynamic duo Pam Garrison and Courtney Cerruti of CreativeBug. Join us as we explore, discover and capture the wild florals of springtime in California.
We’ll gather inspiration from touring beautiful blooming gardens, hikes along the coastline, beach walks, and meandering the streets and paths of this charming city.
Start your week by selecting blooms and botanicals to create one of a kind prints. Work in a variety of media such as watercolor, acrylic paints, monoprinting, colored pencil and other favorites of Pam and Courtney’s. We’ll focus our observation and creation on making floral paintings, motifs and sketches.
Each participant will receive a copy of Courtney’s newest book Make Art Where You Are which includes a sketchbook and art making guide. In addition, we’ll create a one-of-kind sketchbook full of your paintings and drawings to work in during the week and take home to treasure.
Courtney and Pam will be loading their cars full of sketchbooks, inspiration, and ephemera for you to include in your books. Join us on this special floral-art focused retreat in sunny California.
